In a letter to PM Modi, 49 celebrities raise the issue of rising intolerence in India

A group of 49 celebrities have raised the issue of rising intolerance in the country in a letter written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. The list of people included names such as Shyam Benegal, Anurag Kashyap and Ramachandra Guha. The letter demanded that a stricter law should be in place to check the heinous crime of lynching against the dalits and Muslims.
