With body cameras, ex-faujis to check violations on national highways

In a first ever initiative to monitor violations of traffic rules on national highways, the road transport ministry will deploy mobile teams of ex-defence personnel armed with body-cameras and will install CCTV cameras on 11 highway stretches in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Bihar.
