Resident doctors on strike today against National Medical Commission Bill

Healthcare services at government hospitals, including AIIMS, Safdarjung and RML in Delhi, are likely to be severely hit with resident doctors deciding to withdraw all kind of services, including that of emergency department, on Thursday to protest the introduction of the National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill in the Rajya Sabha.

He said, "Preparations are underway to set up second 'Plasma Bank' at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital. It will begin operations soon." Sisodia participated in tree plantation at Van Mahotsav. The Delhi government has a target to plant 31 lakh saplings all over the state. Sisodia congratulated the forest department for this amazing initiative. Dead bodies of two patients belonging to two different communities were swapped at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on July 06. Daughter of the deceased said, "We received a call from AIIMS, and the staff member told us that by mistake they have given someone else's body to us. My mother's body was still in the hospital. The body which we received belonged to a Muslim family." The body of the Muslim woman was cremated following Hindu customs.
