Government defanged Article 370 as Kashmir is Muslim-dominated: P Chidambaram

Congress leader P Chidambaram said that the government would not have ended Jammu and Kashmir’s special status if it had been a Hindu-dominated state. Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad accused Chidambaram of being irresponsible. BJP leaders also accused him of trying to give a communal colour to the issue.
