Shashi Tharoor and Singhvi back Jairam, say ‘demonising’ Modi wrong

A day after senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said it was wrong to “demonise” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several party colleagues, including Abhishek Singhvi, Shashi Tharoor and Sharmishtha Mukherjee, echoed his sentiment. At a book launch on Thursday, Ramesh had said it was time Congress recognised the PM’s work that won him a repeat mandate in 2019.
