Arif Mohammad Khan, who quit Rajiv govt, is new Kerala guv

Arif Mohammad Khan, a vocal opponent of triple talaq and who had resigned from the Rajiv Gandhi cabinet in protest against the enactment of a law to nullify the SC verdict in the Shah Bano case, has been appointed governor of Kerala. Former Uttarakhand CM Bhagat Singh Koshyari will be the new governor of Maharashtra. BJP's TN chief Tamilisai Soundararajan has been appointed governor of Telangana.
