A miscreant carrying Rs 25000 bounty on his head arrested in an encounter by SOG greater noida. After getting lead on their movement, teams were set up in the area. During the cross fire, one miscreant got injured while the others managed to escape. Greater Noida Zone 3, DCP, Rajesh Kumar said, "The arrested miscreant was wanted in multiple cases. We have discovered stolen mobile phones, bike, and pistol. Further investigation is underway and we will take action against the whole gang soon."
The weather in Delhi took a sudden turn during early morning on May 31 as rain lashed several areas in the city. The national capital has been witnessing on and off rains in this month. As per the IMD, thunderstorm with wind speed of 30-35 kmph with rain would occur over Northeast, North, East, Southeast Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad in the next two hours. The minimum and maximum temperature was recorded at 24 degree Celsius and 32 degree Celsius respectively.
In a shocking incident, a Chinese national woman was allegedly beaten up by a man at her residential society after dispute over feeding of stray dogs. Police has registered a case against the accused. "We have lodged case under relevant sections against the accused. Accused attacked her in anger after the stray dogs that she was feeding got into scuffle with his pet," informed Deputy Commissioner of Police for Women Security, Vrinda Shukla.
Eight employees of OPPO mobile company's factory in Greater Noida have tested positive for COVID-19. After the information all operations at the factory have been suspended. The operations in the factory had resumed on 8th May. District Magistrate of GautamBuddha Nagar said, "Medical Department has informed that they have been told by OPPO Company that they have received reports of 1200 people. Of them, 9 have tested positive for COVID-19, 8 from our district and 1 from Ghaziabad."
