Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa on Monday said Kannada was supreme as far as his state was concerned. Opposing Amit Shah’s push for Hindi , former CM HD Kumaraswamy said: “Imposing Hindi as the national language in the state will be against the spirit of federalism.”
