NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who met Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday, refused to comment on the issue of extending support to the Shiv Sena and said "government formation was not discussed in our meeting." However, after the meeting, both the parties made it clear that they needed further discussions on the issue.
