Congress creating an atmosphere of fear over CAA, says PM Modi
Tuesday, 17 December 2019 Speaking at a rally in Jharkhand, PM Modi accused the Congress and other opposition parties of peddling lies over the amended Citizenship Act. The Act neither takes away the rights of an Indian nor harms him in any manner, PM Modi said and urged students to protest democratically. He alleged that "urban Naxals" were trying to instigate youth to foment trouble.
The stage is set for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Preparations are underway for the grand 'bhoomi poojan' on 5th August 2020, with Ayodhya celebrating the day as a 'mini-diwali'. The main guest list includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and governor Anandiben Patel. There will be a total of 175 people in attendance, comprising religious leaders and some eminent citizens from Ayodhya. Security has been increased in the region with around 4.000 security personnel including NSG commandos manning the site and 75 check posts blocking approach roads. The district borders have also been sealed since Monday night. The town is expected to shut down at least two hours before the PM arrives. Over one lakh laddus are being prepared for the ceremony and the saints participating in the ceremony will be given silver coins that have been sent by Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati of Kamikochi. While speaking to ANI in the national capital, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Jharkhand's Godda constituency, Dr Nishikant Dubey spoke on Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. He said, "The move to quarantine Bihar officials probing Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is wrong. This shows that there is something suspicious." "National Investigation Agency (NIA), Enforcement Directorate (ED) must probe the matter. It is high time now, Centre should intervene," BJP MP added.
The prayers were being offered to Lord Shiva by devotees across nation on August 03. Devotees offered prayers at Gauri Shankar Temple in Delhi's Chandni Chowk on the last Monday of 'sawan' month and Raksha Bandhan. A Naxal carrying reward of Rs 8 lakh on his head surrendered in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada on August 03. Malla surrendered on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on her sister's appeal. Malla was a Naxal deputy commander and was involved in several incidents in which police personnel lost their lives. While speaking to media, Dantewada SP, Dr Abhishek Pallav said, "Malla was a Naxal deputy commander. He was involved in several incidents in which police personnel lost their lives."
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met the family members of Roshan Horo in Ranchi on June 24. Roshan Horo was killed by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans at Murhu block in Khunti district. CM Soren directed that the deceased's wife be given Rs 10 lakh as financial aid and a job in the block office at Murhu. While addressing the media in Ranchi on June 25, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren said, "He (Roshan Horo) lost his life during the combing operation. We will be providing a compensation amount of Rs 10 lakh to his wife and we will transfer it in her bank account." "We will also provide job to his wife," Jharkhand CM Soren added. Roshan was a resident of Kumhardih village in Murhu police station area. On March 20, 2020, the CRPF was conducting an intensive operation against Naxalites near Utrudit Middle School, 2 km from the village, following reports of Naxal activities. He died after being shot by CRPF personnel during the operation.
