A billboard of Ayodhya's Ram Temple was seen at Times Square in New York. The billboard appeared on day of temple's foundation stone laying ceremony. The digital billboard featured Lord Ram next to the upcoming temple in Ayodhya. Earlier, at a grand ceremony in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did the 'bhumi pujan', and laid the foundation stone of the new Ram temple. After offering prayers at Hanumangarhi and the idols of 'Ram lalla', or the child deity, PM Modi participated in the bhumi pujan rituals. All the participants, including the PM and the priests, wore face masks and observed social distancing norms due to the raging Covid-19 pandemic. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP CM Yogi Adityanath also attended the grand ceremony. Attendance at the event was limited due to the outbreak. The construction of the Ram temple is beginning 9 months after the Supreme Court handed the Mandir side the disputed site while awarding an alternate plot to the Babri Masjid litigants. I have made portraits of famous personalities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and film stars including my favourite film star Amitabh Bachchan." "When Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised, I prayed for his good health and decided to make a portrait of him. I will present him my art after he gets discharged from hospital. I pray that he gets well soon," he further added. Kamblekar has been working on this art form for the past seven years. Big B was admitted to the Mumbai hospital on July 11 after testing positive for coronavirus.

She got Cabinet portfolio again after Vajpayee led BJP to power in 1998. Swaraj was the leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha from 2009 to 2014. She was also the chief minister of Delhi in 1998. Swaraj was external affairs minister from 2014 to 2019 in previous Modi government. She played a key role in BJP's emergence in the late 1990s.

Kejriwal said that he had spoken to the Delhi Police Commissioner and hoped that the culprits would be arrested soon. The Delhi Police reports to the Union government's Home ministry, not the state government. Meanwhile, Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal also met the victim's family. She said that a team would be stationed with the family 24x7 to provide any assistance required. She also said that DCW had issued a notice to Delhi police as no arrests had taken place so far.
