JP Nadda takes out BJP rally in Kolkata in support of CAA
Monday, 23 December 2019 Nadda was accompanied by senior BJP leaders, including West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh and national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. The march commenced from Hind cinema in central Kolkata and will culminate at Shyambazar.

BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda on August 09 informed that 50,000 ventilators are available in India and 20,000 ventilators are in pipeline under PM CARES Fund. "Today, we have 1400 COVID-19 hospitals across the country. There are around 50,000 ventilators available, while 20,000 ventilators under PM CARES Fund are in pipeline," said Nadda during virtual meeting with BJP workers.
The Ashok Gehlot government won a confidence vote in the Rajasthan Assembly on Friday, ending for now the threat triggered by a rebellion within the Congress ranks in the state. The motion of confidence moved by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal was passed by voice vote, an expected win after the return of the 19 dissident Congress MLAs led by Sachin Pilot to the party-fold. During the discussion, Pilot said he will fight for the Congress as its "strongest warrior". Replying to the debate on the motion, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticised the BJP, accusing it again of trying to bring down his government. "I will not let the government topple at any cost even if you make all attempts," he said. Gehlot said the crisis had come to an end in a “beautiful manner” and this had hurt the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on winning the confidence motion in State Assembly on August 14 said that there is a wave of happiness. Ashok Gehlot said, "In the entire state, there is a wave of happiness. The BJP's conspiracy has failed in Rajasthan. I consider it a win for the people of Rajasthan. Now we have to work together to fight COVID-19. Students of left front of Jadavpur University on August 09 staged protest in front of the university. They held the protest against New Education Policy which was recently announced by the Centre. The protestors said that the Centre introduced NEP without consulting it with state governments and demanded revocation of NEP.

West Bengal BJP has called 12-hr 'bandh' in the districts of North Bengal tomorrow, over the incident. BJP's Central Observer for West Bengal, Kailash Vijayvargiya on the incident said, "We've demanded CBI probe. We'll meet Home Minister tomorrow. If President gives time, we'll let him know of the anarchy in West Bengal."
