Unabated cold wave in north India, Fatehpur in Rajasthan records minus 3 deg Celsius

Biting cold wave persisted in north India on Thursday as the mercury continued its downward trend and temperatures are likely to drop further in the coming days. The Drass belt of Kargil district became the coldest place in the twin Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh recording a minimum temperature of minus 30.2 degrees Celsius. The MeT department has predicted similar weather conditions for the next 48 hours.

CM Gehlot underlined that we have converted the challenge of coronavirus into an opportunity. We are trying to make Model CHC at various places in the state so that people do not have to go to the district hospitals for treatment. They should get better medical facilities at their nearest community health center. During the programme the Chief Minister also said that the pandemic has changed our lifestyle as well as the attitude towards life. Now our priority is how to get economic activities back on track, because along with life, livelihood is also very important.
