Protests were held by PoJK refugees in Jammu as India observed black day to mark Pakistan’s invasion of Jammu and Kashmir In 1947. The protesters slammed the Pakistan government and said that their land is being used by Pakistan & China for the CPEC. They also called on the international community to condemn Pakistan’s actions and sought action against Islamabad for the killing of 70,000 Hindus and Sikhs. Two militants on Thursday surrendered before security forces during a cordon and search operation in Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. "A cordon and search operation was launched by security forces in Tujjar area of Sopore. During the operation, two militants surrendered before security forces," they said. Both the militants, aged 20 and 21, are residents of Sopore town, the officials said, adding that the identity of the duo is withheld for operational reasons. Watch the video for more details.

Police arrested a man for allegedly wearing police uniform in Jammu - Kashmir's Doda. Neeraj Kumar was wandering around the city in the police uniform. An FIR has been registered under Section 419. Speaking to ANI, the Deputy SP of Doda, Manoj Kumar said, "He was wandering around the city in the uniform. In preliminary investigation, it has come into force that he wanted to join police. He has no criminal history."
