Fresh batch of foreign envoys to visit J&K this week

A fresh batch of foreign envoys will visit Jammu and Kashmir this week to get first-hand information about the ground situation after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, officials said on Monday. The first batch of envoys, including the US Ambassador to India, had visited Jammu and Kashmir last month.

BSF detects 'Pakistan-dug' tunnel in J-K's Kathua

A tunnel was detected by Border Security Force (BSF) in Pansar area along International Border in Kathua, Jammu Kashmir. The security forces detected the tunnel under anti-tunneling campaign. According to Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), Jammu NS Jamwal, "We had received inputs from intelligence agencies for a while that there was the possible existence of a tunnel in the Pansar area. Our unit detected this under anti-tunneling campaign." "Pakistan dug this tunnel from the zero-line. The tunnel is almost 140-150 metres long on the Indian side, as we have assessed till now. The tunnel is 2-3 feet wide in diameter."
