Coronavirus outbreak: Assam's massive quarantine tent to house 1,000 people
Thursday, 26 March 2020 About 700 pilgrims of Assam, comprising men, women and children, who are stuck on the inter-state border with West Bengal will not be sent to their homes, but will be quarantined by the government inside a massive tent being constructed by the state government in the premises of an athletic stadium in Guwahati and another two sites with capacity to hold 2,000 people are in pipeline.
This man was walking down the street. To maintain distance from people during the COVID-19 pandemic, he wore an apparatus made of thin metal rods. It looked like a tent without fabric, effectively keeping people out of its radius.
