President, PM, MPs to take a pay cut to fund govt's efforts to fight Covid-19
Monday, 6 April 2020 The Union Cabinet on Monday approved an ordinance to reduce the salaries, allowances and pensions of Members of Parliament by 30% for one year and the amount will be utilised in the fight against coronavirus.The President, Vice President, PM, governors of states have also voluntarily decided to take a pay cut as a social responsibility, Prakash Javadekar said.
Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad on July 4 informed about the latest count of COVID cases in the state. He said, "In the last 24 hours, 772 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the state. There are 7,627 active cases, 18154 discharges so far and 773 patients have succumbed to the infection."

It is more about survival this year than growth."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired Union Cabinet meeting in the national capital on June 03. The meeting took place at Prime Minister's Office, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the meeting. Union Ministers RS Prasad, Smriti Irani and Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also attended the meeting in Delhi.
Union Cabinet on June 01 approved Rs 20,000 crore subordinate debts for stressed Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). "This will benefit 2 lakh stressed MSMEs," said Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar.

Union Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan performed yoga with his family in Delhi. Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel also performed yoga at Delhi's Purana Qila. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar also performed yoga in Delhi. Minister of State (MoS) for AYUSH Shripad Naik performed yoga in Goa's Panaji. Meanwhile, Member of Parliament of Lok Sabha, Pragya Singh performed yoga in MP's Bhopal.
