India sees a record 14,000+ cases in a day; toll up 343
Thursday, 18 June 2020 () India added a record 14,000-plus new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, with big surges in the pandemic in Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, among other states. Maharashtra and Delhi recorded their biggest single-day jump in cases, with the former reporting 3,752 fresh infections while the national capital recorded 2,877 cases.
Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that the US is still in its first wave of the coronavirus.
