FIR against Kargil Congress councillor

The Ladakh police registered a case on Friday against Kargil Congress councillor Zakir Hussain for allegedly making controversial remarks about the India-China face-off during a telephone chat with Nisar Ahmad Khan, a Congress member located in Srinagar.Meanwhile, J&K Congress head G A Mir expelled Nisar Ahmad Khan from primary membership of the party while the Congress high command distanced itself from the remarks.
