Tamil Nadu on Thursday surpassed the landmark of 10 lakh RT-PCR tests for COVID-19. This is being viewed as a commendable feat, given that Tamil Nadu is the first state in India to have done so. The development comes at a time when the cumulative total of samples tested in India is about 2 lakh short of the 80-lakh mark.
