Bhadoria released a video from the hospital where he was admitted. In the video, he said that he got tested for the virus after suffering from a sore throat.

India and the European Union (EU) on Saturday announced their decision to resume negotiations for a balanced and comprehensive trade agreement after a gap of eight years and unveiled an ambitious connectivity partnership, during a virtual meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of 27 member nations of the bloc. In his remarks, Modi invited the EU to support a proposal by India and South Africa to waive patents on COVID-19 vaccines so that there can be equitable vaccine access for the entire world, officials said. The meeting, participated by leaders of EU member states as well as the top leadership of the EU, also decided to launch negotiations on two other key agreements on investment protection and geographical indications.

Petrol and diesel prices witnessed a minor surge in the national capital and stood at Rs 90.74 and Rs 81.12 per litre, respectively on Wednesday. The petrol prices were increased by 19 paise per litre and diesel by 21 paise in Delhi. Rates have been increased across the country and differ from state to state depending on the incidence of value-added tax. In Mumbai, the price of petrol and diesel stood at Rs 97.12 and Rs 88.19 per litre respectively. The price of petrol and diesel in Chennai was Rs 92.70 and Rs 86.09 per litre respectively and Rs 90.92 and Rs 83.98 per litre in Kolkata. Meanwhile, Congress slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the rise in the prices of petrol and diesel."Elections are over, Modi ji has shown taken off his mask, petrol-diesel prices started increasing; Modi ji, now it has been proved that you decide the price of petrol and diesel, not oil companies," tweeted Madhya Pradesh Congress in Hindi. They also shared a newspaper clipping whose headline reads "Petrol and diesel prices increased as soon as elections are over. Petrol in Bhopal up by 24 and diesel by 22 paise".

This comes as many face shortage of oxygen, bed & ambulance amid the second Covid wave. “I saw people in distress on news & social media due to unavailability of ambulances. While some carried their relatives on shoulders, others pulled them on carts. Sold my wife's chain & bought an oxygen cylinder to turn my auto into an ambulance,” Khan said. The auto driver said he has helped many in Bhopal with his ambulance service in the last 15-20 days. People seeking help in & around the city can reach out to Khan, who is available 24*7.
