India's Covid-19 case fatality rate drops to 2.38%; recovery rate rises to 63.34%
Friday, 24 July 2020 () For the third day in a row, the number of Covid-19 recoveries in a 24-hour span saw another record high, with 34,602 patients having recuperated pushing the recovery rate to 63.45 per cent, the Union health ministry said on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Russian government said that the first batch of its Covid vaccine is likely to be released within two weeks. Russia has become the first country to declare a vaccine ready for use.
