As the entire nation is eagerly waiting for 5th August to witness the ground-breaking ceremony of the construction of Lord Ram's temple at his birthplace Ayodhya, one man from Raipur has decided to travel 800 kms to be a part of this auspicious ceremony. Despite being a Muslim, Faiz Khan is an adamant believer of Lord Ram and it is his faith in him that gave him the courage to make this decision. Faiz started his journey from Chandkuri village of Chhattisgarh on 23rd of July and his goal is to reach Ayodhya before the ceremony on the 5th of August. Along with him, Faiz is carrying the soil of Chandkuri village for the foundation laying ceremony at Ayodhya. Chandkuri is said to be the birthplace of Kaushalya, the mother of Lord Ram and thus it is home to lord Ram's maternal grandparents. Faiz feels it is important to mix the soil of the birthplace of Ram's mother in order to seek blessings from the lord before the construction of the magnificent temple. Apart from his family and friends, almost everyone is applauding this step of Faiz and is alos helping him in possible ways to reach Ayodhya on time. Right now Faiz has reached Anuppur district is Madhya Pradesh which is approx 300 kms away from Raipur, the place from where he started his journey. Examples like Faiz are an inspiration for all and are playing a significant role in maintaining communal harmony and strengthening the secular bond of the nation.

Ayodhya land dispute litigant Iqbal Ansari accepted the invitation to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Temple. Iqbal Ansari said, "I believe it was Lord Ram's wish that I receive the first invitation. I accept it." Ansari is the son of Mohammad Hashim Ansari, one of the original litigants in the Ram Janmabhoomi case. Iqbal took the mantle after his father's death. Supreme Court ruled in favour of Ram Mandir to be built on the disputed site. Foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Temple is on August 05.

Watch: Clashes in Assam's Cachar area over Ram Temple posters, curfew imposed

Clashes broke out in the Cachar area of Assam over Ram Temple bhoomi poojan posters being put up by a few people. Two groups of people first had a  verbal altercation over putting up the posters which quickly turned into stone pelting. Security officials rushed to the area and the situation was quickly brought under control. Armed paramilitary forces are presently guarding the area which has been sealed and curfew has been imposed to prevent any further flare-up. There are no reports of any injuries or casualties from the area so far. The incident comes days before the grand foundation laying ceremony in Ayodhya, which will be attended by PM Modi. Preparations are underway in the temple town to make the event a big success. Tight security has also been put in place to avoid any untoward incident. The temple town has been turned into a virtual fortress for the event which will be attended by top dignitaries including the Prime Minister. Watch the full video for all the details.
