Covid cases cross 25 lakh; 3rd highest spike on Friday

India’s Covid-19 caseload crossed 25 lakh on Friday, just eight days after going past the 20-lakh mark, even as more than 65,000 fresh infections were reported for the third straight day while daily the death toll from the virus remained close to 1,000.
