BJP to approach SC against MP high court order restricting political rallies

There can't be such contradicting legislation in one country," he added.
Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain, Election Commission of India on November 10 said that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are robust and tamper-proof and the Apex Court upheld the integrity of the machines. "It has been clarified time and again that EVMs are robust and tamper-proof. Supreme Court upheld integrity of EVMs more than once. EC had also offered EVM challenge in 2017. Integrity of EVMs is without any doubt and merits no further clarification," he said.
Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde inaugurated India's first-ever E-resource centre Nyay Kaushal on October 31. The centre was inaugurated at Judicial Officers Training Institute in Maharashtra's Nagpur. Nyay Kaushal will facilitate e-filling of cases in Supreme Court, any High court and district courts across the country. Two patients suffered burn injuries after fire broke out at a floor of Super Speciality Hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior. Nine patients were evacuated to a safer place. Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse off the flames.
As the COVID-19 cases are increasing in five districts of Madhya Pradesh, state Chief Minister on November 20 announced that night curfew will be imposed in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Vidisha, and Ratlam between 10 pm to 6 am, starting from Nov 21. He said, "Night curfew to be imposed between 10 pm to 6 am, starting from November 21 in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Vidisha, and Ratlam districts. People engaged in essential services and factory workers are exempted." The state has reported 1,363 new cases and 14 deaths on Thursday, according to the State Health Department. Madhya Pradesh has so far reported a total of 1,88,018 cases of which 1,75,089 have recovered. A total of 3,129 people have lost their lives due to the pandemic.
