Suvendu Adhikari will clear his future course in TMC in few days: Saugata Roy

All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders including Saugata Roy met former party leader Suvendu Adhikari, who had resigned from West Bengal cabinet on November 27, to discuss his future course in the party. Saugata Roy said, "We met Suvendu Adhikari yesterday. An earlier decision was reinforced that he will stay in TMC only without any question of joining BJP. Suvendu will clarify whatever he wants to, via a press conference. We have decided to stay together and work together in TMC. We still have 218 MLAs and only one has quit the party so, this is not a matter of concern for us." 'Stop this tamasha': Sanjay Raut on BJP's 'Shiv Sena left Hindutva' charge

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on December 02 said that Maharashtra BJP leaders should not do politics over 'Azaan', and should also stop its 'tamasha' that Shiv Sena has left Hindutva. "Maharashtra BJP leaders are doing politics over 'Azaan'. If any of Shiv Sena's party workers said that crowding should be avoided in places like Mumbai and suggested that 'Azaan' should be recited at home, this is for safety purpose and nothing is politics in it. Even Prime Minister has said there should be no overcrowding at religious places during COVID-19. Those saying Shiv Sena has left Hindutva, should stop this 'tamasha'. They should talk about unemployment, GDP etc," said Sanjay Raut.

Dalit family allegedly tortured by MP minister's aide for not voting for BJP [Video]

Dalit family allegedly tortured by MP minister's aide for not voting for BJP

A Dalit family in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri alleged that they were thrashed by a relative of state minister Suresh Dhakad after they didn't vote for BJP in recent concluded by-polls. The family has camped outside the Shivpuri Superintendent of Police (SP) office, demanding justice. "He thrashed us for not voting in favour of BJP. His name is Ram Kishan Dhakad and we have filed a complaint against him. We have voted for BSP in the recent concluded by-polls, that's why he is torturing us," a victim said. However, Shivpuri ASP Praveen Bhuria contradicted the victim family's stand by saying that their complaint doesn't mention their failing to vote for the BJP candidate as the reason behind their torture. He said, "We didn't receive any complaint about vote. The complainant says they were tortured and they have dispute with Dhakad family. I have directed probe." Meanwhile, BJP state working committee member, Dhairyavardhan Sharma demanded an unbiased investigation in the matter and said, "I feel that people are still in the election mode. One may falsely accuse party leader to draw the attention and hence, unbiased investigation is needful in this case."
