12% India Covid cases among those under 20: Unicef
Thursday, 19 November 2020 Nearly 12% of Covid-19 infections in India are among children and adolescents under 20 years whereas globally, they accounted for 11% of infections, a new report by Unicef analysing data from 87 countries showed. Disruptions to essential services such as education, healthcare, nutrition and child protection interventions were also harming children, the report said.

Uttar Pradesh managed to control Encephalitis disease by 75 percent and fatality rate by 95 percent, informed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the campaign launch in Varanasi. "In 2017, we started special vaccination program to aware citizens about Encephalitis. As a result, the State managed to control the disease by 75% and death rate by 95%.
