Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik's son Vihang Sarnaik arrived at the Enforcement Directorate office on December 23. Vihang will be interrogated in connection with raid conducted at the legislator's residence. Earlier, five summons had been issued to Vihang Sarnaik to join the investigation by ED.

ED raids residence, office of Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik in Thane

Residence and office of Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik are being raided in Thane on November 24 by officials of Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. The security is deployed at his residence during the search process. The Enforcement Directorate also detained Pratap Sarnaik's son Vihang Sarnaik from their residence.

BJP doesn't give ticket to Muslims, uses them to topple govt: Ashok Gehlot

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot slammed BJP by saying that it doesn't give a ticket to Muslims during elections. "But they (Muslims) are being used to topple the government," he added. He also alleged that BJP uses all the machineries like Election Commission, Enforcement Directorate, CBI etc for its benefits.

At least four people died in the US Capitol violence on late Wednesday night. Thousands of protesters supporting Donald Trump stormed into the US Capitol. Protesters demanded the November 3 presidential election result to be overturned. Rioters roamed the Capitol building and ransacked the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Meanwhile, the presence of the Indian flag in the pool of protesters grabbed netizens' attention. In one of the videos, a person is seen holding the tri-colour amid Trump supporters. The video showing the Indian flag has been doing rounds on social media. Identity or political affiliations of the person holding the flag is yet to be known. BJP leader Varun Gandhi was among those who noticed the Indian flag. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi took to twitter and slammed the person. Comedian Vir Das also took a jibe at the person holding the Indian flag.

A moving car caught fire on Eastern Expressway. The tragedy occurred in Anand Nagar area of Maharashtra's Thane. Fire has been doused off. No casualties have been reported.
