Contribution of stubble-burning to PM2.5 levels in Delhi-NCR went up from 10% in 2019 to 15% this year
Tuesday, 24 November 2020 Average contribution of stubble burning to the concentration of PM2.5 in Delhi-NCR during peak phase has increased from 10% in 2019 to over 15% this year with Punjab reporting an increase of 48% in fire incidents while these declined by 28% in Haryana.

Ailing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was airlifted to Delhi from Jharkhand's Ranchi. He was brought in the national capital's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on January 23. Lalu Yadav was referred from Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on the advice of state medical board.
