Flower show themed 'COVID vaccination drive' attracts nature lovers

Annual Flower Show-2021 began in Odisha's Bhubaneswar. It is organised with a theme based on COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination drive. The flower show attracted large numbers of nature lovers in the city. The 2-day flower show promises to be a visual treat for visitors. Annual Flower Show is taking place at Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens in Bhubaneswar. This show was organised by Regional Plant Resource Centre in collaboration with Plant Lovers Association.

Amit Shah inaugurates 69th Plenary Meeting of NEC in Shillong

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 69th Plenary Meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC) on January 23 in Shillong. The Union Home Minister was received by the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma, and other dignitaries. Vice-Chairman of NEC Dr. Jitendra Singh who is also the Minister for DoNER (Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region) and Secretary of NEC was also present in the plenary meeting. Governors and Chief Ministers of the eight northeastern states along with a large number of delegations of state government and central ministries were present at the meeting which is scheduled to conclude tomorrow. Various developmental undergoing projects in the entire Northeastern were discussed during the meeting.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Imphal on December 27. Shah was greeted by BJP workers upon his arrival. He was welcomed by Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Union Minister Jitendra Singh. Later in the day, Amit Shah will lay foundation stones of the Churachandpur Medical College and the state Police Headquarters in Imphal. He will also lay foundation stone of state guest house in the state capital. The Home Minister is on a three-day visit to the northeast.

BJP has established acceptability in J-K: Jitendra Singh

MoS of PMO, Jitendra Singh said, "This is the vindication of PM Modi's decision to introduce grass route democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the first time people of the Valley could choose their leader from among them. The biggest achievement, as far as the BJP is concerned, it has established its acceptability across the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir." As per latest trends of DDC elections results, BJP has won 52 seats and has emerged as the single-largest party. While, the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) has bagged most number of seats.
