BJP names Bihar ex-Deputy CM Sushil Modi its candidate for Rajya Sabha poll
Friday, 27 November 2020 Sushil Kumar Modi has been named the candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat from Bihar, which fell vacant after the death of LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan.
Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP from East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir, on January 19 lauded the performance of Indian Cricket Team. He said, "This is the greatest series ever to be won by the Indian cricket team ever, I don't think so it has been any bigger than this," he said. Gambhir hailed the performance of young players who proved their mettle in the absence of key players who were injured.

BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on December 28 said that CM Nitish Kumar agreed to become Chief Minister of Bihar on request of Janata Dal (United), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) leaders.
