He added that he stated his stand to the Chief Justice of India and recused himself from the panel. The Supreme Court had earlier stayed the implementation of the farm laws and also appointed a committee to listen to the grievances of the farmers. Farmer Unions, however, said that they would not attend any talks with the panel and insisted that their only demand is the complete withdrawal of the Centre’s farm laws.
