Ahead of Republic Day parade on January 26, Uttar Pradesh's craftsmen are putting in their full effort to craft beautiful tableaus. Of these tableaus, the one which is the centre of attraction is the one which is carrying the Ram Temple replica. A replica of Ram Temple will be depicted in Uttar Pradesh's tableau which will be showcased in the Republic Day parade on January 26. The bedecked tableau is fronted by a sitting model of Maharishi Valmiki and the temple model is on the rear side. A glimpse of 'Deepotsav' and various other stories from Ramayana have also been showcased.
Construction of Purvanchal Expressway has been completed. The 3,300-metre-long airstrip near Kurebhar in Uttar Pradesh on the expressway is ready. "All categories of aircraft can land at this airstrip. IAF has said that it'll soon test the airstrip," said Awanish K Awasthi, Addl Chief Secy, Home.

Uttar Pradesh meteorological department issued an 'orange alert' regarding the cold wave condition in various parts of the state including Gorakhpur.
