Govt files affidavit in SC in the evening, says most farmers happy with laws

With the Supreme Court questioning the consultation process prior to enactment of the farm laws, the Union government on Monday evening filed an affidavit hardening its stand against withdrawing the laws and said these took shape after two decades of intense deliberations and consultations with stakeholders.
