But the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) website, until recently, had an investigation report which carried a map that identified a region in the western portion of larger Kashmir as AJK.
A complaint has been filed against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The complaint was filed at Gaya Civil Court in Bihar for her alleged remarks on Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) leader Upendra Kushwaha. Speaking to media, lawyer of Gaya Civil Court, Kumar Shambhu Prasad said, "It is a crime to make derogatory comments against any leader. So, we have asked court to take cognizance of our complaint." A post was shared by Kangana on her Twitter handle in the first week of this month (December 03), which included a picture of Upendra Kushwaha's election meeting. The leaders involved in this picture were said to be members of the gang in pieces (Tukde Tukde Gang). The biggest leader in the picture is Upendra Kushwaha, whose picture is written in 'Azad Kashmir'. Similarly, other leaders were also added in poster with names like Lutyens Liberal, Jihadi, Khalistani and Urban Naxal.
Two girls from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), who had inadvertently crossed into the Indian side in Poonch on December 06, have been repatriated from Chakkan Da Bagh crossing point on December 07. One of the girls, Laiba Zabair said, "We lost our way and entered Indian Territory. We feared that Army personnel will beat us up but they treated us in a very good manner. We had thought that they would not allow us to go back but today we are being sent home. People are very good here."
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on January 20 appealed to beneficiaries to get themselves vaccinated by COVID-19 vaccines, amid apprehensions of their efficacy. "There is a need to spread awareness about the vaccine...Both the COVID-19 vaccines were given emergency use approval only after scientists were convinced of their safety. I appeal to all beneficiaries to get themselves vaccinated," said LG Manoj Sinha. COVID-19 vaccination drive was roll out on January 16 across the country.

Activists of Dogra Front on January 20 staged protest against the web series 'Tandav' in Jammu and Kashmir's Dogra. 'Tandav', an Amazon Prime Video-based series addressed the backlash against its content that has hurt religious sentiments of many viewers. Muslim people also showed their anguish against the web series by showing placards. The protestors alleged that the creators of the web series have tried to disrupt the communal harmony in the country. Earlier in the day, Maharashtra Government has received a complaint regarding 'Tandav' and will be taking appropriate action against the web series. Earlier on Monday, the cast and crew of the Saif Ali Khan starrer political-drama had extended their apologies to the viewers for "unintentionally" hurting their sentiments. An FIR was also registered at Lucknow's Hazratganj Kotwali against Amazon Prime's India and team of 'tandav' for allegedly hurting religious sentiments on Monday.
