Demonstrators held banners and placards with various slogans. They also chanted slogans against Pakistani and Iranian atrocities. A large number of people in Balochistan have done missing which the locals allege are kidnapped by security agencies. A majority of them are languishing in detention centres for years whereas some are extra-judicially killed and tortured. A large number of Baloch youth, who have migrated to the West, are raising their voice against Pakistan's atrocities on the Baloch people.
Reports say filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actor Tapsee Pannu are facing tax raids in Mumbai. Tax officials are carrying out searches at properties in Mumbai and Pune this morning. Several production houses are being searched at nearly 20 locations in the 2 cities.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said on Monday she hopes to use Washington's presidency of the United Nations Security Council to push for more "intense discussions" on Myanmar.
India called on Myanmar leadership to resolve differences in peaceful and constructive manner. 'Rule of law and democratic process must be upheld and those detained be released'. It urged all stakeholders to restore democratic order. India has been steadfast in support to the process of democratic transition in Myanmar.
