In due course of time, he started consuming heroin and started selling heroin to feed his addiction. He has been also previously involved in 3 cases. The Crime Branch has seized heroin of 300 grams and 270 grams from both the accused in two separate raids.

Spiritual leader the Dalai Lama received the first shot of the coronavirus vaccine in Dharamshala on Saturday. He received the dose at Zonal Hospital at around 7:10 am. He was kept under observation for about half an hour. The Dalai Lama's office thanked the Government of India and the Himachal Pradesh dispensation for facilitating the first dose of the vaccine for the spiritual leader.

One monk in critical condition shifted to Tanda Medical College, others in isolation in the monastery itself. Monks who have been home-isolated, had travelled from Karnataka and Delhi during new year celebrations."
