Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan met US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry on Wednesday. The dignitaries held talks on several issues including energy and technology. The meeting took place in New Delhi. John Kerry is on a four-day visit to India, from April 5 to April 8. Kerry earlier met union ministers S Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman and Prakash Javadekar. Kerry is here to prepare for US President Joe Biden’s Climate Change Summit on April 22.

United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry on April 07 met Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan in the national capital. Both the dignitaries had a fruitful talk on several issues. Kerry is on a four-day visit to prepare for United States President Joe Biden's Climate Change Summit on April 22. The United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate recently said that US is committed to halt global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius and hopes to help India cut emissions as well. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that fuel prices will drop in the coming days. He said with a decrease in crude oil prices in international markets, fuel prices in India have also started reducing and will reduce further in the coming days. “Petrol, diesel and LPG prices have started reducing now and they'll reduce further in the coming days.
