‘Such dirty politics…’: Sanjay Raut on Anil Vaze’s letter naming Anil Parab

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that there is a political conspiracy behind arrested cop Sachin Vaze naming Anil Parab in his latest letter. ‘There have been efforts from day one to topple the Maharashtra government. The faces of those who are trying to topple the government are coming to light. A new trend has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. People in jail write letters and they are considered as evidence,’ Raut said. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut came forward to defend Maharashtra Minister Anil Parab over the allegation levelled by Sachin Waze, and said no Shiv Sainik can take false oath in the name of Bala Saheb Thackeray. "A new tactic has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. This is a political conspiracy. I know Anil Parab, he can never indulge in such work. I can assure, no Shiv Sainik can take a false oath in Bala Saheb Thackeray's name," said Raut.

The National Investigation Agency recreated the crime scene in the Antilia bomb scare case. NIA took suspended cop Sachin Vaze to the place where a car with explosives was found. Vaze was made to don an oversized kurta, face mask and walk to the crime scene site. NIA arrested Vaze for allegedly planting the explosives-laden car outside Antilia. The suspended Mumbai police cop is also facing heat in murder case of Mansukh Hiran. Hiran was in possession of the scorpio found outside Mukesh Ambani’s house. The thane-based businessman was found dead in a creek on march 5.

Antilia bomb scare: NIA recreates crime scene, Waze made to walk donning 'oversized kurta'

In the latest development in the Antilia bomb scare case, National Investigation Agency (NIA) took suspended police officer Sachin Waze to the place near businessman Mukesh Ambani's residence where explosives were recovered from a car last month. NIA recreated the crime scene as part of ongoing investigation in the case. Waze made to walk to the site where the explosive laden car was found, as spotted in the CCTV footage on that night. Sachin Waze was also made to don over sized kurta and face mask. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), on March 17, had confirmed that the person, seen in a CCTV footage walking near Mukesh Ambani's residence on the night of February 25 when an explosive-laden vehicle was found, was Waze. Waze was transferred to the Citizen Facilitation Centre at the Mumbai Police Headquarters after his name came up in the death case of Mansukh Hiran, the owner of the vehicle which was found on Carmichael Raod outside Antilia on February 25. Hiran was found dead in a creek on March 05 in Thane.

‘Uddhav Thackeray had asked me to reinstate Vaze when I was CM’: Fadnavis

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister has leveled grave charges against incumbent CM Uddhav Thackeray. Fadnavis alleged that when he was Chief Minister, there was pressure from the Shiv Sena to reinstate Sachin Vaze. He alleged that Uddhav Thackeray had called him and some Sena leaders had visited him. Fadnavis said that while he decided not to reinstate Vaze after consultation with Advocate General, Shiv Sena reinstated him in March 2020 citing shortage of policemen due to the pandemic. Fadnavis said that a probe should be conducted on those who were behind Vaze. The controversial cop had been arrested by the NIA in connection with an explosives-filled SUV found near Mukesh Ambani's home Antilia in Mumbai. The abandoned SUV was traced to one Mansukh Hiran, who had reported it stolen on February 17. Waze's role came under scrutiny after Hiran was found dead in a creek near Mumbai on March 5. Mansukh Hiren death case: CCTV footage shows Sachin Waze going to CSMT

In the latest development in Mansukh Hiren death case, a CCTV footage has surfaced purportedly showing Sachin Waze going to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7 pm on March 05. Waze had taken a local train to Thane that day. He was brought to CSMT on April 05 for scene recreation. Officials from Pune's Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) were also present. Waze is an accused in the death case of Mansukh Hiran, the businessman who owned the explosive-laden car parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on February 25. Body of Mansukh Hiren was found at Kalwa creek in Thane on March 05.

Complete faith in judiciary: Sachin Waze's brother after Court extends NIA custody

"We have complete faith in NIA and judiciary," said Sachin Waze's brother Sudharm on April 03. The Special Court today extended the National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody of suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze till April 7 while also directing NIA to provide all medical aid to Waze. Waze is an accused in Mansukh Hiren death case. Waze was in NIA custody till March 25, for his alleged role and involvement in placing the explosives-laden vehicle outside the residence of Ambani. Later his custody was extended till April 3.

2 died after tree fell on an auto rickshaw in Thane

Two people died after a tree fell down on an auto rickshaw in Thane's Talao Pali lake area on the night of April 21. Police arrived at the spot to take cognisance of the incident. Rescue team is working to clear the road which got blocked due to the accident.
