Saturday, 13 March 2021 The National Investigation Agency (NIA), probing the last month's recovery of an explosives- laden vehicle from outside the south Mumbai home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, arrested Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze after quizzing him for over 12 hours on Saturday night, a spokesperson said.

Union Minister and BJP leader Prakash Javadekar lashed out at Maharashtra government over extortion allegations against Anil Deshmukh and Sachin Waze case. "It is clear that Maharashtra's Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is actually 'Maha Vasooli Aghadi'. Its common minimum programme is 'collect money through police'," said Prakash Javadekar.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that there is a political conspiracy behind arrested cop Sachin Vaze naming Anil Parab in his latest letter. ‘There have been efforts from day one to topple the Maharashtra government. The faces of those who are trying to topple the government are coming to light. A new trend has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. People in jail write letters and they are considered as evidence,’ Raut said. Waze had written a letter to the NIA claiming that Maharashtra ministers had asked him to illegally collect money for them. BJP leaders had cited the allegations to demand Anil Parab’s resignation. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut came forward to defend Maharashtra Minister Anil Parab over the allegation levelled by Sachin Waze, and said no Shiv Sainik can take false oath in the name of Bala Saheb Thackeray. "A new tactic has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. This is a political conspiracy. I know Anil Parab, he can never indulge in such work. I can assure, no Shiv Sainik can take a false oath in Bala Saheb Thackeray's name," said Raut.

As the National Investigation Agency's probe into the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare continues, CCTV footage of main accused Sachin Vaze surfaced. The footage, dated March 4 at 7 pm, reportedly showed the suspended police officer going to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. He was dressed in a shirt and trousers. The following day, i.e. March 5, Mansukh Hiran was found dead in Thane. He was the owner of the car found with explosive near Ambani's house on February 25. Watch the full video for more.

In the latest development in Mansukh Hiren death case, a CCTV footage has surfaced purportedly showing Sachin Waze going to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7 pm on March 05. Waze had taken a local train to Thane that day. He was brought to CSMT on April 05 for scene recreation. Officials from Pune's Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) were also present. Waze is an accused in the death case of Mansukh Hiran, the businessman who owned the explosive-laden car parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on February 25. Body of Mansukh Hiren was found at Kalwa creek in Thane on March 05.

Speaking on incident in which oxygen was leaked while it was being filled in a tanker in Maharashtra's Nashik, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope on April 21 said it will impact the hospital and government will issue a press note after gathering more information in the matter. "Due to the walls leakage of the tanker in Nashik, there was massive Oxygen leakage. There must definitely have been an impact on the hospital it was going to but I'm yet to gather more information.
