Voting for the second phase of West Bengal and Assam concluded on April 1. EVMs were moved to strong room centre safely in Nagaon, while the presiding officer Ganesh Chandra Jana sealed the EVMs in Kakdwip, West Bengal. State witnessed over 80% voting in 2nd phase.
