Covid-19: India reports highest daily spike with over 1.15 lakh new cases

With 1,15,736 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, India has recorded the biggest one-day spike since the outbreak of the pandemic pushing the tally to 1,28,01,785. The previous high was on April 5 when the country, with 1,03,844 fresh Covid positive cases, had crossed 1-lakh mark for the first time.
