Encounter between security forces and terrorists is underway in Senthan area of Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Police and security forces jointly launched the operation. On April 09, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar informed that Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) chief Imtiyaz Shah was killed in the encounter by security forces.
Three terrorists were killed during an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on May 6. The security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Kanigam area of the South Kashmir district during the night following information about the presence of terrorists. An official said as the presence of four newly recruited terrorists of Al-Badr outfit got ascertained, the security forces exercised maximum restraint and tried their best to persuade them to surrender. Rasiq Imtiyaz Khan from the Wathora area of Budgam District shares his journey as a singer and music composer. Like many other budding singers in the Valley, the journey wasn't easy for him.
