Afghan couple held with heroin worth Rs 860 crore in Delhi

Two Afghan refugees, a couple, involved in supply of heroin were arrested by the Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of Delhi Police in the West district of national capital on May 07. Authorities arrested the heroin suppliers with 125.84 kgs of drug worth Rs 860 crore (as per international market) and a car from their possession, police said. The accused were sent to five-day police custody.

Germany has sent an Oxygen Plant with the capacity of generating 4,00,000 litres of oxygen. The Plant will serve DRDO operated Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID Hospital. Speaking to ANI, German Ambassador to India Walter J Lindner said that India gave so much to world during COVID pandemic so it is just the act of returning this help. "India gave so much to world during Corona crisis. So it's just the act of returning this help. When we got to know that India needs mostly oxygen, we had our military getting into gear and they brought in big oxygen plant. I think on Monday morning we have a test run," German Envoy.

Malini, a visitor said, "I had came here to visit Red Fort but could not get inside only look at it from outside." Another visitor Sandesh said, "I had came to visit Delhi but we have to follow government's protocol too."
