PM Modi dials Mamata, assures her of all help to mitigate flood situation in Bengal
Wednesday, 4 August 2021 Prime Minister Narendra Modi telephoned West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday and took stock of the flood situation in the state, a senior official of the state government said. The prime minister assured Banerjee of all central assistance to mitigate the flood situation, he said.
PM Modi tweeted a photo of his flight to America in which he is seen perusing through some paper work ahead of various important engagements that are scheduled during his visit. Modi captioned the image: A long flight also means opportunities to go through papers and some file work.
