Withdrawal of cases, compensation for those who died in farm protests on agenda: Rakesh Tikait
Sunday, 21 November 2021 Compensation for the farmers who lost their lives, withdrawal of cases registered against farmers during the protests and other issues of farmers will be on the agenda in the Samyukt Kisan Morcha meeting, said Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Sunday. Tikait said that issues like electricity bills, MSP guarantee need to be resolved before the conclusion of the agitation.
Reacting to the big development on Friday morning when PM Modi announced the repeal of the three contentious farm laws, Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait reiterated that protests will continue until the govt makes good on its word in the winter session of Parliament.

In an incident which resulted in chaos on Monday, black ink was thrown at Bhartiya Kisan Union leader, Rakesh Tikait during a press conference. The visuals of the incident are going viral on social media which shows the Kisan leader's face, kurta, turban smeared in black ink. According to reports, 3 people have been detained in the case.
