India’s losing more than a lakh Indians annually…to other nations

A total 8,81,254 Indian citizens renounced their citizenship in the last seven years till September 30, 2021, as per information available with the ministry of external affairs, MoS for home affairs, Nityanand Rai, informed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. According to the data tabled in the Lower House, most Indians renounced their Indian citizenship in 2019.
