COVID-19 update: India records 2,68,833 new cases, 402 deaths; Omicron tally at 6,041
Saturday, 15 January 2022 An increase of 1,45,747 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. The country recorded 1,22,684 recoveries today.
India registered 2,58,089 COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Monday. The tally rose to 37.38 million. Deaths rose by 385 logging a toll of 4,86,451, the ministry added.
