Sunday, 1 May 2022 India reported 3,324 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry data. With this, the country's total tally of coronavirus cases rose to 4,30,79,188. With 40 fresh fatalities, India's Covid-19 death toll climbed to 5,23,843. The country's active coronavirus caseload currently stands at 19,092.
