Tuesday, 17 May 2022 India's active case tally now stands at 16,400, seeing a dip of 917 cases from the previous day, the Union health ministry bulletin stated. The current recovery rate in India stands at 98.75%, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
India on Monday reported 2,202 fresh cases of the Covid-19 virus, with this the total number of active cases in the country has reached to 17,317. 27 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

The study found those who had tested positive
for COVID-19 were more likely to have long-term symptoms not present before testing positive.
Researchers found common symptoms vary by age. .

Children ages 4 to 11 were
prone to experience problems with concentration and memory.
